My first step was a brief recruiter phone call where it felt like the questions were being read off a checklist.

There was very little context—no real information about the role or what the process would look like. I had to get a lot of my own clarity from the conversation itself.

After I completed an evaluation they sent afterward, I waited for months without hearing back. When I finally got a response, it was a generic rejection and it took far longer than it should have to reach that point. The lack of communication made the experience frustrating even though I felt like I’d responded appropriately when asked.
