Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a single coding interview that took roughly fifty minutes.

The interviewer was very friendly and gave hints when I got stuck, and the whole vibe was collaborative rather than adversarial. I was able to run every test case successfully—13 in total—without needing to build my own extra test cases.

I didn’t end up receiving an offer. Even though the technical execution went well, I left with the sense that the bar included more than just getting the tests to pass, because the process still didn’t move forward. My honest reflection was that it felt like a good coding conversation, but the decision clearly depended on broader fit.
