I went through an Expedia process centered on LeetCode-style coding plus a heavier design discussion, and it felt moderately to quite challenging.

Recruiter screen / pre-work — a short recruiter interaction to align on experience and the role before moving into technical rounds.
Coding assessment — HackerRank-style problems with multiple LeetCode mediums (and a few MCQs on OOP); the focus felt like getting your approach working quickly.
HLD / system design — a flight booking system deep dive covering FR/NFR, API design, and a more in-depth database discussion.
Hiring manager — a final managerial conversation to close out fit and technical reasoning. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the biggest differentiator
