I interviewed for the Software Engineer role at Expedia Group with an overall average difficulty, and my experience emphasized repeated technical checks followed by fit/behavior-style evaluation.

Profile compatibility / fit check — an initial compatibility screen.
Coding test (LeetCode medium) — algorithm questions focused on core data structures and patterns.
Technical + behavioral (pair of rounds) — two longer live interviews where one round combined coding with HR-style questions, and another technical/HR mix followed.
Strengths / behavioral wrap-up — a strengths-based discussion to round out the loop. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, but the process felt organized and guided, with interviewers acting knowledgeable and cooperative.
