I had a shorter, two-touch process that felt organized and conversational, starting with a recruiter screen and then moving to a single full technical interview.

Recruiter screen — a half-hour chat about my background and the position.
Technical interview — about an hour focused on technical concepts and discussion of my skills.
(Variant) In-house recruitment with two interviews total — another similar path had two interviews end-to-end, with direct questions and regular updates. Outcome: No offer; I appreciated the streamlined format, but still didn’t progress to a final decision.
