I interviewed for a backend development role in a clean two-step format and reached an offer stage, but I declined it due to another commitment.

Phone screening — an initial screening focused on cultural fit/HR topics.
Onsite (2 hours) — met the office recruiter, an office leader who shared project/tech context, and then a technical interview where I explained architecture from a project I worked on, followed by simple data structure questions. Outcome: No offer (declined); I passed the process quickly enough to get an offer, but chose a different path.
