I joined an online interview where I was asked questions that leaned heavily toward understanding how I worked with others and what kind of teammate I’d be.

Three people were on the call for about an hour total, and the discussion was largely qualitative—focused on my personality and past teamwork—until they opened the floor for me to ask questions back.

It was one of those experiences where the tone stayed pleasant and collaborative rather than intimidating. I appreciated that the format made room for my side of the conversation, and it also felt like the questions weren’t designed to catch me off guard. Even though I didn’t receive an offer, the whole interview left me with a generally positive, “I could see myself here” feeling.
