Electronic Arts Systems Engineer interview experience

Most of the discussion centered on my recent projects and deliveries that matched the role, with an emphasis on giving concrete examples and backing up my technical claims in a structured way.

I talked through design decisions, the technologies I used, and the tangible business outcomes that resulted. The overall impression was that hard skills and complex problem-solving execution were what mattered most, with behavioral elements taking a smaller role.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I felt the evaluation criteria were at least consistent with what was communicated.
