Electronic Arts Software Engineer interview experience

The loop began with a phone call from HR, and then I had one technical interview followed by one fit interview.

Interestingly, the actual interview conversations themselves were genuinely nice and relaxed.

What hurt the experience was communication from HR. I received wrong information about which interview was coming up, and email follow-ups didn’t get replies. So even though the live conversations went fine, the process around them felt messy and unreliable.

I didn’t receive an offer, and I left feeling like the quality of the interviews wasn’t the main issue—the coordination was.
