I interviewed with EA in a sequence that started more conversational than technical.

We talked about the game I would be working on, what they were looking for in their tech stack, and we covered salary expectations. That part was actually enjoyable and felt more like a real discussion than a screening.

After that, there was a technical interview, and then the experience ended there for me. I didn’t get an offer, and the way it concluded made me feel like the technical round was the deciding point.

Looking back, the best part was how clearly the earlier conversation set context around the role, even though the final technical step didn’t go in my favor.
