Electronic Arts Software Engineer interview experience

In that conversation, I talked through my CV and previous experience, and they asked about how I collaborate in a team.

A simple but telling detail was that they asked whether I’d used C++ before. The tone was more introductory and relationship-oriented than intense problem-solving, and it felt like they were checking fit and background alignment early.

I didn’t receive an offer from this path, but the experience helped me understand that this stage was about seeing whether my experience matched the role’s likely needs, especially around language exposure and how I’d work in a team context.
