Electronic Arts Software Engineer interview experience

After an HR call, I scheduled my interview for about two weeks later.

Then on the day of the interview, they emailed me to say they had already hired someone else and had to cancel.

It was one of the most frustrating endings because the process didn’t just pause—it ended abruptly after I’d already planned around the scheduled time. There wasn’t much room to understand what happened or get any meaningful closure.

No offer came out of it, and the main reflection I had was how abrupt and non-transparent the cancellation felt.
