I had a 30-minute chat that was mostly conversational, centered on my past projects and the kinds of projects I might work on.

We also talked about why I wanted to join EA, so it wasn’t purely a skills check—it felt more like a mutual understanding of fit.

The tone was easy and direct, and by the end I felt like the conversation gave both sides a clear picture. I didn’t go through a long chain of rounds from what I experienced here; this one conversation carried the process.

I received an offer, and what I found most memorable was how simple the format felt. The reflection I took was that for this stage, clarity and storytelling about my work mattered as much as anything technical.
