I experienced an EDF interview path that felt welcoming and relatively direct, with manager-level conversations that were technical but still constructive.

Manager interview (constructive, technical) — I spoke with an identified manager and found it enriching; it was technical but pleasant and part of a process that wasn’t long.
Two-person interview (HR then manager) — In another similar flow, I had an HR conversation followed by a team manager discussion; both were conducted by kind interviewers who made it easy to perform. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that the technical conversations were delivered in a supportive manner.
