I didn’t progress after a multi-stage EDF process that included a refactoring exercise and deeper follow-up questions about my design choices.

Initial video call — I spoke with an engineer in a conversation-style introduction.
Technical test — I refactored an API call and had to ensure it was production-ready.
Second technical interview — I walked through my code and design decisions, with a lot of questioning.
Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that interviewers expected a thorough explanation of your “why,” not just a working change.
