I ran into an EDF round driven by recorded, time-boxed situational questions—where clarity and speed of forming answers mattered.

Recorded interview (time-boxed) — I answered several situational questions via video, with short prep time and a strict two-minute response window per question.
Competency-based self-recording — I also faced competency questions in a self-recorded format.
Outcome: I didn’t progress; the process felt hard to prepare for because the questions were long and unexpected, even though it was an interview rather than deep coding.
