I went through an EDF-standard process with mostly math/competency testing and a lot of waiting, and I ultimately didn’t receive an offer.

Application + admin steps — I filled in the application, then was sent forms a day later and later invited to a recorded/willo-style interview with multiple questions.
Online assessment — I completed an online assessment that was heavily mathematical, with enough flexibility to redo the recording if needed; responses could be penalized if not recorded in one go.
Math/engineering-focused follow-ups — I was asked questions grounded in energy/nuclear concepts and electrical engineering principles, including group-style abstract thinking and math/calculation checks.
