Dynatrace Software Engineer interview experience

• Screening / selection process — I went through a process where they appeared very selective about what they were looking for.
• Decision stage — In the end, they selected someone who already had a connection inside the company, despite differences in background.

Outcome: I did not get hired; the takeaway was that internal referrals outweighed fit signals from the interview process in my case.
