My process moved quickly and felt very operational—almost like they were already thinking in terms of coverage and staffing.

I started with a recruiter conversation, then I met with district management, and later there were additional conversations with senior leaders. The scheduling was mostly handled through a team messaging app, and after the first call on a Monday, I heard back fast and ended up getting hired within days.

The content wasn’t academic. The recruiter validated my work history and asked basics, and the district manager leaned into situational questions—how I’d respond in real workplace moments. I also got a chance to shadow a store manager, which made the job feel concrete instead of theoretical.
