Disney+HotStar Software Engineer interview experience

Medium

Positive

IndiaPosted Oct 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through three rounds, each about an hour: data structures, Android, and then a design round.

The interviewers were helpful and easy to talk to, and the tone felt supportive rather than intimidating.

The DS portion tested core problem solving, and the Android round focused on fundamentals. Then the design round brought it together in a more structured way.

Difficulty was average. I didn’t get an offer, but the experience felt positive overall because the rounds were straightforward and the interviewers made it a good environment to think out loud.
