Disney+HotStar Software Engineer interview experience

BengaluruPosted Jun 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview process felt very designed, with each round clearly targeting a different area like design, problem solving, and core competencies.

Some questions were open-ended and required me to ask relevant questions as part of the solution.

Difficulty was difficult, but I really liked how the rounds progressed in terms of difficulty rather than staying flat. It didn’t feel random; the complexity increased in a way that made the overall arc make sense.

I didn’t get an offer, but the experience was one I genuinely enjoyed because the interviewing structure felt thoughtful and well-paced.
