Disney+HotStar Software Engineer interview experience

The technical rounds felt decent and surprisingly informative.

I had several rounds total—four—covering algorithm and design across different combinations, and I also got time in the schedule for design plus low-level design.

They were generous with rescheduling, which helped because timing got adjusted during the process. The tech stack discussion itself was what I found most useful; it wasn’t just interview theater.

Difficulty was average and I didn’t get an offer. Even so, the overall feel was positive because the process didn’t feel rushed and the conversations stayed constructive.
