I interviewed with a strong people component, but the later interaction quality varied—one felt “chill,” another felt like an interrogation and dragged toward follow-ups.

Non-technical / HR-style round — I discussed prior experience and soft skills; one version described it as relaxed and straightforward.
Next meeting / escalation — In one case, they arranged a second meeting and I was awaiting feedback; in another, the HR exchange lasted about 1.5 hours and included odd questions, plus a request to continue by phone. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is that even without heavy technical grilling, interviewer style can strongly affect the experience.
