My interviews centered on straightforward self-introduction and role-related technical basics, and they felt easy.

Intro + technical knowledge — I introduced myself and answered questions tied to my experience and the role, mainly verifying general technical understanding.
Graduate/dissertation discussion (when applicable) — In one case, as a graduate I had to discuss my dissertation.
Supportive, understanding interviewer — In another, the interviewer was described as nice and attentive to my current position and experience. Outcome: No offer; the sessions were friendly and low-friction, but I didn’t advance further.
