I experienced a tougher, more test-heavy process for a Software Engineer role, with multiple rounds over a longer stretch and pressure from assessments.

HR/Talent Acquisition stage — I had an HR-style conversation focused on fit, followed by a structured battery of assessments.
Capability / personality assessments — I took verbal, numerical, and inductive tests with time constraints, plus a separate personality questionnaire.
Technical interview with the hiring manager — I discussed my past experiences and achievements and went deeper into what I’d described.
Additional filtering or knowledge testing (varied by path) — In my case, the process included extra screening steps and knowledge testing before progressing.
