I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Cyient and the experience felt average-to-bad, with a long loop that left me frustrated.

Technical — I felt the technical part itself was decent, but the overall process was full of time-wasting elements.
HR/Recruiting — The interaction felt politically driven rather than merit-focused, and I eventually decided not to accept.
Follow-up — After I declined, I received another message from them requesting money. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer (and walked away), and the takeaway is that professionalism and process integrity mattered as much as the technical discussion.
