I went into a regular, mixed-ability interview where both soft factors and technical/domain knowledge were tested.

Online/IQ + communication + technical — IQ/communication screening followed by technical questions.
Experience fit — they asked about my prior experience, what points I was keen to resume, and my interest in the work.
Domain deepening (physics/engineering) — questions included gas turbine engine and aircraft parts functions and physics-related topics. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway is that both communication and domain fundamentals mattered.
