I experienced a two-week-ish pipeline that started with a quick phone screen and only progressed to in-person technical after clearing that first check.

Phonic/phone interview — I was screened by phone; the next step depended on whether I passed.
F2F technical interview (scheduled after pass) — After passing the phone screen, I got scheduled for a face-to-face technical interview.
HR interview — After completing the technical rounds, HR interview was conducted.

Outcome: I didn’t report an offer, and the takeaway was that this journey emphasized a pass/fail phone screen before you ever reach the technical desk.
