San Diego, CAPosted Oct 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer in a somewhat odd but still relatively easy format that focused on familiarity with their technologies.

Recruiter call — a quick overview of the job.
Engineer interview scheduled after a month — I was set up by another recruiter for a 1-hour session with three engineers.
Technology walkthrough + Q&A — one engineer led most of the discussion; we talked about which technologies I’d used and went into additional detail when I indicated experience. Outcome: No offer reported; the takeaway was that it tested practical familiarity more than problem-solving.
