Crowdstrike Software Engineer interview experience

There were about 6–7 interviews, and I talked with many members of the team. It included a take-home assignment and also a panel discussion, so it wasn’t a quick loop.

When I reached the offer stage, the tone changed. During the compensation discussion, someone who presented as a director-like figure joined and acted in a way that felt unprofessional and pressuring. I stayed polite and cooperative, but later I found out the feedback came back negatively—a complete reversal from earlier signals I’d received.

In the end, they offered me a junior role instead of the one I’d been discussing.
