Crowdstrike Software Engineer interview experience

That first round was a live coding task with logs and timestamps plus a system-design style logging service. It felt like the problem ate into my time, and even when I already understood the direction, the interviewer kept insisting on additional questions.

In the system design portion, I wasn’t allowed to draw a schema—I had to explain everything verbally. That constraint threw me off, because I’m used to using diagrams to communicate structure. By the time I hit the later rounds, I was already carrying the weight of the early failure, and I didn’t end up getting an offer.
