I interviewed with engineers and managers from two different teams, split between the auth side and cloud engineering.

The cloud engineering rounds felt the most professional overall, and they leaned on classic LeetCode-style problems plus discussion around race conditions.

When I moved into the auth team, it didn’t feel as smooth. One engineer round was, frankly, the worst interview I had in a while—the person seemed overwhelmed with a high-severity issue and couldn’t really concentrate on the conversation. I offered to reschedule if the timing was bad, but they still ran the session, and the coding question ended up being medium level LeetCode where I felt like I probably nailed it. There wasn’t much
