What I remember most was how drawn out the process became.

It stretched over more than four months, and the communication felt inconsistent enough that it was hard to keep momentum.

As the process went on, I had to prepare multiple presentations, which became a big time sink. The hiring manager was kind and I didn’t doubt they were human and thoughtful, but the overall experience didn’t feel streamlined. Eventually the process ended with a “no, thank you,” and by then it had cost me a lot of energy.

I left with mixed feelings: the individual interactions were okay, but the long timeline and poor communication made the decision feel less satisfying.
