Costar Group Account Executive interview experience

When I said I was in the Seattle area, they asked whether I’d be willing to relocate, explaining they were looking for someone in Olympia and that without that match I’d be ineligible.

After that conversation, my application was marked as withdrawn in their system, even though the Seattle posting was still visible. The part that felt most strange wasn’t the relocation question—it was the way the decision seemed to get flipped immediately afterward. I never got to any meaningful interview stages, and it left me feeling like the process was more about location rules than evaluating fit.
