I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Corning with an overall average difficulty and a short, straightforward timeline.

HR recruiter screen — A first call to learn about my background and interest in the role, including basic conversation about me in both Spanish and English, plus resume-style questions.
Project leader interview (video) — A video call with the project leader to go deeper on my fit for the position.
Follow-up — I did not receive an offer after these early stages. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, but the process felt relatively standard and not technically intense early on.
