I started with a recruiter conversation where it felt like they were mapping my background to what the Financial Analyst role needed.

Most of the early questions were behavioral, centered on my experience and how my skills showed up in real work. We also talked through the tools I’d used, especially Excel, and how I applied them day to day.

After that foundation, the conversation shifted toward my interest in accounting. From there, I was asked a handful of accounting-related questions tied to the responsibilities of the role. The whole thing felt fairly structured and aligned with the job description, and the difficulty matched that—challenging enough to be meaningful, but not overwhelming.
