Cloudflare Software Engineer interview experience

That round set up what came next: a take-home assignment. The deadline was about seven days, and I managed to finish it in three. I was genuinely expecting to move forward after putting in that effort, but after I submitted, I never heard anything.

I waited for two weeks, reaching the point where the silence was hard to interpret as anything other than a pass. Eventually, I withdrew my application. Looking back, the part that stayed with me wasn’t the assignment itself—it was the way the process ended without any closure, and the fact that I never even got to talk with the recruiter directly.
