I had the recruiter reach out first, then it turned into a phone call followed by a technical round.

The technical discussion centered on DDoS and CDN, and a big part of the round was explaining technical ideas in a way that would make sense to a non-technical client. I felt the evaluation wasn’t just about correctness—it was about clarity and how I framed trade-offs.

After that, things moved to the decision phase quickly enough that I ended up with an offer. Honestly, what stood out to me was how deliberately they focused on communication with a “client lens,” not just backend depth.
