Cloudflare Software Engineer interview experience

It started with a simple 30-minute conversation with an engineer, then I had a 1-hour HackerRank pair programming round. The format stayed collaborative rather than a solitary “submit and hope” situation, and the pairing made the technical work feel more fluid.

After that, I met with the team to see if the fit was there. The whole thing depended heavily on who I got as an interviewer, but in my case it genuinely felt easygoing. I didn’t make it to the final decision, yet it didn’t feel hostile or confusing—just like I didn’t fully clear whatever bar they were using for the last step.
