Cloud Software Group Software Engineer interview experience

The format was essentially a HackerRank-style assessment: two relatively straightforward coding questions, with the last one turning out to be more challenging than the earlier parts.

That same interview ended up feeling like a mix of coding and broader fundamentals. I remember having to do two LeetCode-style “easy” problems, then answering a handful of general CS questions, and finally having a more casual conversation with engineers. Overall it felt approachable compared to what I’d seen elsewhere, and the questions were more about staying sharp than anything overly deep.
