The process took a while before I heard anything back—about two and a half months.

When it finally moved, the interview was set up as a video call at 7 a.m., and it felt odd from the start because one interviewer was in India.

I spoke with two people. One interviewer in the U.S. was more friendly and asked questions that felt relevant. The interviewer in India, though, came across more like an interrogation and asked things like how they knew I wouldn’t leave for another role. Overall, it felt horrible to me, mainly because the tone and questioning style didn’t match what an interview is supposed to feel like.
