Toronto, ONPosted Dec 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an interview that felt fairly routine, and afterward I realized the communication was the problem.

The interviewer completed the discussion, but I wasn’t told whether I had gotten the job or where I stood.

What stuck with me was the lack of follow-up. Instead of an email or any clear status update, I just sat there without answers. Even though the interview itself was likely normal, the process felt unprofessional because it left me hanging.

I didn’t get an offer, and the experience didn’t end with closure. The main thing I’d keep remembering was how badly the uncertainty lingered after the conversation ended.
