I went through what started as a normal-looking recruitment path—after being reached out by CIBC, there were conversations and a few rounds.

But instead of a clear finish, it ended with being ghosted.

The process felt like it led to something, and then suddenly I was left without any updates. It was frustrating because it wasn’t just a rejection; it was the absence of closure and communication.

I didn’t receive an offer. The reflection I kept from it was blunt: if the process turns into silence, it wastes more time than the outcome itself.
