CIBC Business Analyst interview experience

At the beginning, it leaned technical, but as the conversation went on it shifted more toward my personal character and how I’d handle different situations.

They even gave me hypothetical scenarios to work through, which made it more than just a recitation of my resume. I appreciated that blend, because it let me show both how I think and how I’d respond under pressure.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience itself was strong. If anything, I walked away understanding that the bar was broader than just technical knowledge—it was about judgment and fit too.
