I showed up to what felt like a preliminary interview, and it was mostly theoretical and HR-focused questions.

The tone was a bit uncertain going into it, because I didn’t have a very clear picture of what would be asked. After that day, they requested an in-person technical round for coding.

Since I was still trying to figure out what the technical expectations would be, that uncertainty was honestly the hardest part mentally. I didn’t receive an offer, but at the time the process felt like it was still steering toward a coding-focused follow-up rather than concluding right away.
