My interview felt smooth and comfortable from the start.

I talked with the recruiter first, and then the technical part focused on practical topics—UNIX and SQL—along with behavioral questions about how I work in a team and how I’ve handled past experience.

The questions were easy to follow, and the whole vibe was friendly rather than adversarial. I walked away feeling like I understood what I was being evaluated on, but even with that positive feel, I didn’t end up getting an offer.
