My worst experience started with a recruiter asking me to complete a behavioral pre-screening assessment that took about forty minutes.

After it was done, I received very positive feedback.

But on the day of the scheduled interview, I only got a reminder an hour beforehand, and then the interview was canceled about a minute before it was supposed to start. I was already logged in and waiting. After about ten minutes I checked my email and saw the cancellation notice, which came with no explanation.

I followed up to ask whether it was truly canceled, but I never got a response. I didn’t get an offer, and it left me feeling like the process wasn’t being managed with any respect for my time.
