BengaluruPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role at CGI and found the process fairly structured, with two main technical stages over a short, multi-part timeline.

Online assessment — AMCAT-style written/Coding round with section cut-offs, covering quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal (e.g., synonyms/reading comprehension), plus about 2 coding questions (arrays/string/sorting) in ~45 minutes.
(Second stage via interviews) — The report describes the typical flow as continuing after the online stage into interview rounds, but doesn’t include the exact interview questions. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but I left with a clearer view of the expected assessment topics to prepare for next time.
