I interviewed for a backend-oriented Software Engineer role at CGI and found the experience fairly easy for my experience level, with multiple levels completed in a single day.

Level-1 — A first interview based on my resume and past work experience, aligned to my backend developer experience.
Level-2 — A second technical level continuing the resume-based line of questioning.
HR discussion — Completed the loop with an HR conversation about the role and fit. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that the questions were primarily grounded in my resume rather than obscure theory.
