Halifax, NSPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer at CGI with an average difficulty across two technical/behavioral rounds plus an HR element, and the flow felt fairly quick.

Technical interview — I covered prior experience and how it connects to the work.
HR screening / behavioral discussion — A recruiter or HR discussion to understand my motivations and fit.
Final behavioral with senior leadership — In one path, I spoke with a VP in a final behavioral/professional fit conversation. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the takeaway was that they leaned heavily on my experience narrative and professional fit.
